Rockies top D-backs

In the rubber match today between the Rockies and D-backs, the Rockies came out on top 11-4. The game was closer than the score would indicate as the Rockies pulled out 7 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning but still a solid win for the Rockies. Rodrigo Lopez pitched very well today, which is good news because he was one of the unknown pitchers in the Rockies rotation. Holliday went yard for the 1st time this year as he carried the Rockies offensively going 4-5 on the day. Now it is on the road for 9 straight games against N.L West opponents. It'll be interesting to see how Jason Hirsch pitches. Hopefully the Rockies can grab at least 5 wins on this road trip coming up.
