Broncos trade for Bly

The Denver Broncos acquired Dre Bly from the Lions today for right tackle George Foster, and runningback Tatum Bell. This is a great trade for the Broncos considering the fact that Foster and Bell were basically dead weight. Foster may be one of the worst right tackles in the game, while Bell has proven that he cannot be an every down back in the NFL. I will say this though, Foster may have been the victim of the wrong scheme, as the Broncos use their famous cut blocking scheme, and that doesn't utilize Fosters enormous size and strength. Bell is an excellent backup, situational runningback, he can break one at any time, but as I said before he has proven he cannot be an every down back and he fumbles way too much. Meanwhile the Broncos get Dre Bly in the trade which when paired with Champ Bailey gives the Broncos arguably the best cornerback tandem in the league. Now it's up to the Broncos to address their defensive line issues, but I like the start to this off season.
